Have the character offer a wave or hello before approaching the children. Let each child choose whether to come closer or observe.
Use one photo spot and invite children in small groups. A child may watch instead of posing, without holding up the group.
Check venue conditions and the indoor route with the operator. Ask us to confirm the theme, program details, cost and availability.
A Nonantum party can feel more settled when one adult handles the weather plan and another guides the character moment. Keep the visit short and predictable: a greeting, an optional group activity and photos for those who want them. No city venue or local booking rule is verified here, so check the chosen site directly. Ask us about the costume theme you are considering; program details, cost and availability need confirmation before you plan around them.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
