Let them observe from beside someone they trust. A wave from a distance can be a complete first interaction.
Invite guests to watch or take turns joining one simple song, story or birthday cheer.
Have the requested theme, preferred date, location and rough plan ready. Confirm the program, costs and availability with our team.
A relaxed North Marshfield party does not need a long character program. Give the birthday child a moment to observe, then offer a wave or hello at their pace. A photo can follow if they want one; guests can join a short story or cheer without pressure. For an outdoor plan, settle the backup location and choose an adult to make any weather decision before guests arrive. Ask us about the requested costume theme and visit outline; program details, costs and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
