Keep it brief, such as a song or group pose, and make watching an equally acceptable option.
No. Ask our team to confirm availability, cost and program details before treating the visit as arranged.
In Nymore, Minnesota, make the character visit feel manageable by assigning one adult to guide the timing and another to stay near the birthday child. A gentle wave can open the visit; the child can then choose a short greeting, a photo or a comfortable place to watch. Guests may join a simple group song, but keep the activity brief and optional. For an outdoor plan, decide in advance who will monitor weather and where everyone will go if plans change. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
