Start with watching beside a trusted adult. Offer a wave or greeting, and let the child decide whether to approach.
Confirm the theme, program details, cost and availability with our team, and ask the venue about permission.
Offer a few optional turns rather than requiring every guest to pose. Keep a clear path around the birthday child.
For Oak Ridge, Texas, a little preparation can leave more room for the birthday child's own pace. Ask us about the costume theme you have in mind and confirm the proposed program, cost and availability with our team. A greeting can start with a wave, followed by photos only if the child wants them. Guests can take part in a short group moment without making the visit feel crowded. Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
