For a character visit in Ogontz Campus, plan the child's welcome before choosing the party layout. A familiar adult can greet the character first, then let the birthday child decide whether to wave, talk or join a photo. Keep a simple activity ready for guests who prefer to watch. These are statewide planning checks, not verified city venues or policies: confirm the exact gathering space, its access and any permission needed for hired entertainment. Ask us about program ideas; details, costs and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
