Start with a wave from a comfortable distance. Let the child choose whether to talk or take a photo, and avoid making physical contact part of the greeting.
Invite the group to sing or offer birthday wishes from their seats, then let children take turns for photos. One adult can help keep the area clear.
Tell us the date, ZIP code, requested theme, child's age, group size, and any timing needs. Confirm program details, costs, and availability before treating the request as scheduled.
In Oloh, Mississippi, keep the character visit gentle by making the first interaction optional: the birthday child can watch from a trusted adult's side, wave, or come forward for a photo. Guests can join with a quiet birthday cheer or take turns sharing wishes. Before the party, choose an adult to watch the weather and tell our team about the schedule, group size, and child's preferences. The guidance below is statewide or national planning advice, not verified Oloh venue rules. Confirm program details, costs, and availability with us.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
