Offer choices such as watching, waving, or saying hello beside a caregiver. Let the child set the pace and skip any activity they do not want.
Invite willing guests to add a birthday wish or join a short cheer. Take a group photo only with children who want to be included.
Verify the venue's rules and share your date, location, and schedule when asking us. Confirm the character, program details, costs, and availability; a request is not a reservation.
Onarga party plans can stay simple: make the character greeting a short, optional moment between the birthday child and their guests. Begin with a wave or a hello from a comfortable distance, then let the child choose whether to take a photo. Guests can join a brief birthday cheer or stay nearby and watch. Illinois' state picnic directory can help identify state-managed locations, but it does not confirm a particular Onarga venue or its rules. Check the exact site and have an indoor backup for outdoor plans. Ask us about the character; confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Illinois DNR provides a directory of state park picnic locations. Use it to identify the exact state-managed property, then check its shelter booking process, facilities and access with the operator. A picnic listing is not a reservation or approval for hired entertainment, and it does not establish rules for municipal parks.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
