Offer a wave or photo from beside a trusted adult, with watching as an equally welcome choice.
Share the schedule, guest of honor's name and any participation preferences with the character team. Confirm venue permission separately.
No. Ask us to confirm the program, cost and availability before making plans.
In Perryville, plan the character visit around one calm, clear moment rather than a packed schedule. The guest of honor might offer a wave, choose whether to join a short greeting, then pose for a family photo. Let children watch before inviting them to participate; a simple story prompt or group hello can make the visit feel welcoming without putting anyone on the spot. Before choosing a setting, confirm its gathering rules and any permission needed for hired entertainment. Ask us about program details, cost and availability; all require confirmation.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
