Let them stay with a trusted adult and watch from a comfortable distance. Participation can be a wave, a photo later or no interaction.
Choose one spot with room for the birthday child and a few guests at a time. Avoid gathering the whole party around the character at once.
Ask us about the requested theme, then confirm program ideas, timing, costs and availability with our team.
A relaxed Pierz celebration can give the birthday child time to notice the character before the group gathers around. Ask us about the costume theme you have in mind; program ideas, timing, costs and availability need confirmation with our team. Keep the greeting brief, leave space for children who prefer to watch, and invite guests into one shared photo or simple wave. Have an adult ready to guide everyone if outdoor plans change.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
