Start with a wave or hello from a comfortable distance. Let children choose whether to approach or stay with their adult.
Offer photos as an option after the greeting. Tell families when the photo moment is planned so children can opt in.
No. Ask the park about the exact space and activity, and ask us separately to confirm visit details, cost, and availability.
For a Pyramid gathering, a calm arrival can help children decide how they want to meet a character. Ask about beginning with a wave and saving a family photo for after the first hello. A manageable visit might then offer one group activity, while children can watch instead of joining. Have an adult ready to guide the group and keep the visit moving gently. These are ideas to discuss, not included or guaranteed services. Ask us to confirm theme-provider program details, cost, and availability. Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Nevada State Parks publishes a reservation process for designated group-use areas and separate guidance for special or commercial uses. Identify the exact group area and ask the park which process applies to your gathering and hired entertainer. Keep facility or permit payments separate from the character provider's quote; neither alone establishes full event approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
