Begin with a wave or a short hello from a comfortable distance. Let the child decide whether to move closer, take a photo or simply watch.
Tell children the greeting is optional and choose one easy group activity, such as sharing birthday wishes. Keep the photo area clear and avoid a crowded line.
No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm the program, cost and availability with our team, and get separate approval from the venue.
A simple sequence can help a Rincon, Texas party feel manageable: welcome the character, let the child choose a greeting, then invite guests to join a brief activity or photo. Keep a parent close by and make watching from the edge a perfectly good choice. Before settling on a park or group facility, check its current booking process and whether the gathering plan is allowed. Set aside an indoor backup if the celebration is outdoors. Ask us to confirm the requested costume theme, program details, cost and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
