Let the child watch from a parent's side or skip the interaction. A wave or a photo from farther away can be enough, and joining later can remain an option.
Invite guests to share a brief birthday wish from their places. Keep the child's greeting first and avoid forming a tight crowd around them.
No. Theme-provider activities, costs and availability need confirmation with our team. A ZIP code or date request is not a booking or payment.
In Rinconado, New Mexico, make the child's welcome the center of a short, unhurried visit. A gentle greeting can lead to a birthday wish, with the child free to wave, watch or join a photo. Ask a familiar adult to stay nearby, especially during the first few minutes. For a group gathering, choose a spot where guests can see without pressing close, and keep a backup plan if outdoors. Ask us about the character theme, possible program, cost and availability; confirm the location's permission separately.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New Mexico State Parks directs visitors to specific park pages for group shelter reservations. Review the chosen facility's current conditions, operating information and alerts rather than applying one set of amenities to every park. Ask the operator about your gathering and hired entertainment before committing to the location.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
