No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm the program, cost, and availability with our team.
In Rossville, Illinois, plan the character visit around a clear, calm welcome rather than a packed schedule. Let the birthday child choose whether to wave, talk from a little distance, or join the character when ready. Set aside a short greeting, a few photos, and one simple group activity, such as a sing-along or a show-and-tell moment. Before settling on an outdoor plan, verify the exact site and its rules; statewide guidance does not confirm Rossville facilities or their policies. Ask us about the requested theme, then confirm program details, cost, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Illinois DNR provides a directory of state park picnic locations. Use it to identify the exact state-managed property, then check its shelter booking process, facilities and access with the operator. A picnic listing is not a reservation or approval for hired entertainment, and it does not establish rules for municipal parks.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
