For a Roundaway party, give the organizer a clear role in keeping the visit calm and the group together. The birthday child can greet the character at a chosen spot, take a photo with family, then invite guests into a simple activity. Keep the schedule flexible so children can watch before joining. The supplied facts offer statewide planning guidance only, not verified Roundaway facilities or local policies. Confirm venue rules directly, and ask our team about the requested theme, program, costs, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
