No. Ask us to confirm program details, costs, and availability before announcing plans.
A relaxed Runaway Bay character visit can start with a simple hello, then move into a story or playful group activity if the children are keen. Give the birthday child first choice of a wave, a quick photo, or more time to watch. For guests, an easy turn-taking cue can prevent a crowded greeting. When you ask us about the requested character theme, share the age range, guest count, and proposed setting. Confirm program details, costs, and availability before building them into the party schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
