Offer a wave, a photo from a comfortable distance, or a closer hello. Let the child choose without pressure.
Share the schedule, guest age range, child's preferred greeting, and photo plans with our team. Confirm visit details, cost, and availability.
You can plan one, but confirm venue permission and arrange an indoor backup. A ZIP code or date request is not a reservation.
For a Saint Ann birthday, keep the character visit relaxed and easy to follow. A warm wave or hello can come first, with the child choosing whether to approach, watch from a caregiver's side, or join in later. Set aside a few minutes for photos before inviting guests into a simple group moment, such as a birthday cheer or short dance. Share the child's name, preferred greeting, timing, and any sensitivities with our team ahead of time. Program details, costs, and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Missouri State Parks says enclosed shelters, venues and meeting rooms require advance reservations. Check the exact facility type and current booking conditions, since open picnic shelters can follow a different process. Confirm the gathering layout and permission for a hired character visit with the operator; this policy does not establish entertainer availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
