Offer a wave, a nearby hello, or a chance to watch first. Let the child choose what feels comfortable.
Invite guests to participate in small groups for a photo or wave. Keep the rest of the activity optional.
Choose the weather decision maker and backup route. Separately confirm venue permission and the visit format, cost, and availability with our team.
A Schulte party can feel welcoming with a simple plan: greet the birthday child gently, leave time for photos, and offer guests a choice to join or watch. If weather is a concern, decide ahead of time who will call for a move indoors and where the group will go. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Schulte venue policies. Ask us about a character theme and confirm visit details, cost, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
