Start with the character waving hello while children stay with their adults. Invite guests to join a simple group moment only if they feel ready.
Choose one photo location and have the organizer call small groups in turn. Children can opt for a wave or watch instead of posing.

A Seabrook, New Hampshire character visit can feel easier when the greeting is brief and children have a choice about joining in. Set aside a clear spot for a wave, a group photo or a short activity, with room for guests who prefer to watch. Before choosing an outdoor setting, check its exact access and booking process; state park guidance is not a city venue listing. Share the child's interests and your guest mix with our team. Confirm all program details, cost and availability with the theme provider.

New Hampshire State Parks warns that visitors without reservations may be turned away when Monadnock State Park is full. If considering this state-managed property, check its current day-use parking process and access conditions. A parking reservation is not a group shelter booking or permission for hired entertainment, and this example does not describe every park in the state.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
