In Sextonville, keep the character visit focused on connection rather than a crowded program. Offer the birthday child a choice between a wave, a short conversation, or watching beside a caregiver. Make photos optional and invite guests to join one simple group greeting. The available facts provide statewide planning checks, not verified Sextonville venues or policies; a state-managed facility example does not establish local options. Confirm venue rules and ask our team about program details, costs, and availability.

Wisconsin DNR describes the reservable picnic shelter at its MacKenzie Center and its booking route through the State Parks reservation system. Treat this as one state-managed facility example: check the actual shelter, nearby facilities and conditions with the operator. Confirm permission for a hired character visit; the listing does not establish rules for every Wisconsin park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
