Yes. Suggest watching from a comfortable spot or waving from beside a trusted adult.

No. Check the facility reservation separately, and ask us to confirm the character visit details and cost.
For a Shenandoah Junction gathering, build the visit around the birthday child's preferred way to meet the character. A quiet hello can lead into a brief group greeting, then optional photos for children who feel ready. Tell guests in advance that participation is their choice, and keep the schedule flexible for arrivals or breaks. Ask us about the character theme, possible activities, cost, and availability before settling the party plan. Suggested activities are planning ideas and are not guaranteed program inclusions.

Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
