Yes. Offer a wave or a chance to watch from close to a parent, then let the child decide whether to approach.
Keep participation simple and optional: a greeting, a group moment or a photo if they want one. The organizer can guide the flow.
No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Ask us about the visit, then confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
For a Silex gathering, prepare a simple place for the birthday child to meet the character without putting them on the spot. They might wave, stand beside a parent for a photo or invite friends to join a short group greeting. Guests who prefer to watch can remain nearby and join later. If you are considering a Missouri state park, check whether the exact space is enclosed or open and what reservation process applies. Ask us about a visit plan; confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Missouri State Parks says enclosed shelters, venues and meeting rooms require advance reservations. Check the exact facility type and current booking conditions, since open picnic shelters can follow a different process. Confirm the gathering layout and permission for a hired character visit with the operator; this policy does not establish entertainer availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
