For a Sullivan, Missouri, celebration, keep the character's visit easy to follow: greet the birthday child, pause for a photo if they want one, then invite the group into a simple activity. Children can join, watch or take a break with an adult. If you are considering a state park room or shelter, check the exact facility type and current reservation conditions; statewide guidance does not identify Sullivan venues. Ask the operator about permission for hired entertainment, and ask us about program options, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Missouri State Parks says enclosed shelters, venues and meeting rooms require advance reservations. Check the exact facility type and current booking conditions, since open picnic shelters can follow a different process. Confirm the gathering layout and permission for a hired character visit with the operator; this policy does not establish entertainer availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
