For a Tecumseh, Michigan celebration, build the visit around the child's pace rather than a fixed spotlight moment. A quiet hello can lead into a photo, then a simple activity that guests may join or watch. Tell our team the requested character theme and ask us about the visit; confirm program details, costs and availability. For an outdoor plan, decide in advance who will monitor weather and where the group can move indoors. These are statewide planning checks, not verified city venue rules.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
