Offer a wave, a short greeting or a photo beside a trusted adult. Let watching count as participation.
Not by itself. Ask the specific park about gathering space and permission for hired entertainment.
No. A date request is not a reservation. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
For a Three Point celebration, make the character's arrival easy to understand: gather guests in one spot, introduce the birthday child, then let each child decide whether to join. A wave or parent-supported photo can feel just as comfortable as a close hello. If your plans include an overnight stay, keep lodging questions separate from gathering permission. Ask us about program ideas and confirm visit details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
