A wave and a little time to watch can help the birthday child choose how to join.
Offer a short group movement or question, while making it fine to sit out.
Choose a photo spot and share the timeline, guest ages and access needs with our team.
A Tishomingo party can leave room for both lively guests and children who prefer to observe. Plan a brief entrance, a low-key greeting for the birthday child and one shared activity before photos. If the gathering is outdoors, decide which adult will monitor the weather and guide any move indoors. Send our team the timeline, guest ages and access considerations, then confirm character program details, cost and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
