Let the child observe first or greet from beside a trusted adult. A wave or photo from a distance can be enough.
Describe the gathering and hired entertainment, then confirm capacity, setup time and permission for the activity you are considering.
Only after the details are confirmed with our team. A date request alone does not secure a visit or constitute payment.
For a Towson celebration, make the character's arrival a small focal point rather than a demand for every child to perform. A warm hello, optional group participation and a few unhurried photo turns can help guests settle in. Ask us about the character theme and visit plan you are considering; program details, cost and availability require confirmation. Maryland venue policies vary by operator, so verify your specific room and permissions. The guidance here does not verify Towson facilities.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
