Start with a wave and a little space. Let the birthday child decide whether to approach or stay close to an adult.
Offer a simple choice such as answering a question or joining a group photo; watching quietly is fine too.
No. Ask us about the requested theme and visit plan. Program details, costs and availability must be confirmed with our team.
For a Trevat gathering, make the visit easy to follow: choose one spot for the greeting and tell children they may participate by waving, answering a question or simply watching. A birthday child can have a brief first photo, followed by optional pictures with friends. Give the organizer a little time between activities so the visit does not feel rushed. When you ask us about a character theme, share the age range, group size and preferred visit length; program details, cost and availability require confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
