At a party in Urb Sevilla Biltmore, a little preparation can help the character visit fit smoothly between other activities. Pick a gathering spot with enough room for children to sit or stand comfortably, and tell guests when the greeting will begin. The birthday child can choose a wave first, then join a photo or short game if ready. Keep one adult free to guide introductions and help quieter guests take turns. Ask our team about the requested character and confirm the program, cost, and availability before sharing a schedule with guests.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
