Offer a wave, a short greeting, or simply watching beside a trusted adult. There is no need to rush into a photo or activity.
Share the meeting point and the simple activity plan. Let families know that watching is welcome, too.
No. Check venue confirmation separately, then confirm the character program, costs, and availability with our team.
For a West York celebration, give the birthday child one clear moment with the character before moving into group fun. A wave or brief hello can lead into a family photo, with the option to watch rather than join an activity. Keep the program compact and leave a little breathing room between parts. If considering a state park pavilion, confirm the exact site and its terms; statewide information does not verify city facilities or policies. Ask us about themes and program ideas, then confirm costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
