Choose a clear greeting spot, tell guests when photos may happen and keep a familiar adult close by.
No. Ask us to confirm availability, costs and program details before treating the date as arranged.
In White Oak, Kentucky, make the character visit the calm center of the celebration rather than a long performance. Start with a wave or a brief hello from beside a familiar adult, then let the child choose whether to join a simple game or stay nearby and watch. Set aside a clear photo moment while the room is settled. Before choosing a setting, confirm what the space allows and what the character program includes. Ask us about the requested theme, program details, costs and availability; a date request is not a reservation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
