Start with a quiet group greeting, then let the child choose whether to wave or take a photo.
Ask about the specific gathering space, its rules and permission for hired entertainment; an overnight stay alone does not establish event approval.
No. Ask our team to confirm availability, costs and program details for the requested theme.
A Wilmore, Kentucky, party can give the birthday child a special moment without putting them on the spot. Let the character greet the group, then ask whether the child would like a photo, a wave or more time with family first. Before settling on a state park or overnight stay, distinguish an accommodation reservation from approval for a gathering. Ask us about a character theme and share your timing needs; program details, costs and availability must be confirmed.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
