Plan one simple spotlight, such as a greeting or short photo moment. Check the activity with the character service and let the child choose whether to participate.
Invite children to wave together, then offer optional brief turns for photos or a hello. Keep a comfortable space for guests who would rather watch.
Confirm the gathering location and its permissions with the operator. With our team, check the requested character, program details, costs and availability.
A Wedonia party can feel easier when the character visit has a simple rhythm: welcome, a little time to warm up, then one shared moment for the birthday child. Keep participation optional so younger guests can join by watching, waving or taking a turn when ready. Before choosing a gathering place, confirm its rules directly rather than assuming an overnight booking includes event permission. Ask us about the character theme and visit format; details, costs and availability require confirmation. The checks below are statewide guidance and parent suggestions, not verified Wedonia venues or policies.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
