Let the birthday child watch first or greet from beside a trusted adult. A wave is enough participation.
Share the location, schedule, guest count, and any access or comfort needs. Identify who will monitor weather and guide a move indoors.
Confirm the visit format and any planned activities or photo moments with our team, along with costs and availability.
A Westboro, Ohio party can stay relaxed when one adult handles the weather decision and the visit itself has room to breathe. Let the birthday child choose a wave or closer greeting, then invite guests into a short shared activity. Keep photos optional, and have a trusted adult ready to support children who want to watch. Since city facilities and policies are unverified, confirm your exact space and backup route directly with its operator. When you ask us about a character visit, share the schedule and any participation preferences; program details, costs, and availability require confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
