Let the character greet the child gently and give them time. A wave or watching from beside a trusted adult can be the whole special moment.
Invite guests forward in small groups for a brief activity or photo. Keep a clear path and let children opt out without explanation.
Once you have a date, location and theme in mind, ask us to confirm program details, costs and availability. A request alone does not reserve a visit.
For an American Fork birthday, decide first whether the character moment belongs in the main party or as a short pause between activities. A simple entrance, a greeting with the birthday child and a family photo can be enough; guests may join or watch. If considering an outdoor group site, verify its rules directly and keep a practical indoor backup in mind. These are statewide planning checks, not verified American Fork venues or policies. Confirm theme-program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Utah State Parks publishes a specific reservation season and advance-booking process for group sites at Fred Hayes State Park at Starvation. Check the exact group site and current conditions before fixing your date. This is one state-managed property example: group-site availability does not establish eligibility for a birthday gathering or permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
