Salt Lake County's parks and recreation department lists reservable picnic pavilions, meeting rooms, and other gathering spaces. Its parks listing includes Pioneer Crossing Park, which the county lists under West Valley City. A pavilion is a natural fit for an outdoor character visit, while a meeting room suits a winter or hot-weather party. Check the reservation details directly with the county before settling on a space.

Ask whether the venue allows outside entertainers and any rules that apply to performers. Confirm the space you want is available for the full length of your visit, including setup time. Ask how the space is arranged, where guests can gather, and whether there is shade or indoor space if the weather changes. Find out what time the venue opens and closes so your entertainer arrives and leaves on schedule.
