Offer a choice of waving, saying hello, or watching first. Let the child decide whether to take a photo.
Check current booking conditions, the exact site's suitability, and whether your gathering and hired entertainment are permitted.
No. Ask us to confirm the requested character, program details, costs, and availability.
For a Ballard, Utah gathering, keep the character moment adaptable to the setting. The birthday child might choose a wave, a short conversation, or a photo with a trusted adult nearby; other guests can join an activity by choice. Utah's group-site information is an example for one state-managed property, not proof of a Ballard venue or birthday-event permission. Check the exact site and current conditions before fixing plans. Ask us to confirm the requested character, visit details, costs, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Utah State Parks publishes a specific reservation season and advance-booking process for group sites at Fred Hayes State Park at Starvation. Check the exact group site and current conditions before fixing your date. This is one state-managed property example: group-site availability does not establish eligibility for a birthday gathering or permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
