In Curtis Bay, shape the visit around one clear moment: a warm character hello, followed by a small activity and time for pictures. Give the birthday child the choice to wave, watch from beside a trusted adult, or join in when ready. Keep the program flexible for the group's age and attention span. Before choosing a location, check its rules directly; the supplied facility example concerns Baltimore, not Curtis Bay. Ask us about the character visit, and confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
