Let the child choose between a wave, a short hello or watching nearby first. Keep the greeting brief if that feels more comfortable.
Invite guests to join one simple activity in small turns. Leave space around the child of honor and make watching a valid choice.
Check park permission with the operator and confirm program details, cost and availability with the character provider.
A relaxed Evinston gathering can center on one special moment: the child of honor meeting the character in a way that feels comfortable. Start with a wave or a brief hello, then offer a photo and a simple activity that other guests may join. Ask the provider which program details are possible and confirm cost and availability. The supplied facts describe Florida state-park guidance, not a verified Evinston venue or local policy. Use these tips as statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, and speak with the operator of any specific property.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
