Offer space and choices: wave, watch beside a parent, or say hello later. Avoid asking the child to perform for the group.
Pick a spot with room to gather, and let the birthday child take a photo first. Guests can join afterward by choice.
Ask us about the requested character theme, then confirm activities, costs, and availability with our team before planning the schedule.
A thoughtful visit in Ext Tanama can give the birthday child a moment in the spotlight without making the whole party feel formal. Offer a choice between greeting the character, sharing a quick photo, or watching first. Then invite guests into a short story or a simple call-and-response, with no need for everyone to participate. Ask us about the character theme you want to request and confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team. Before the party, decide who will welcome the character and who will help children find the photo spot.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
