Offer a wave, a hello from a distance or time to watch beside a trusted adult. Let the child decide whether to approach.

In Hobe Sound, Florida, plan the character moment around the specific site you choose, not a general assumption about nearby facilities. A friendly introduction, a choice to wave or watch and a short photo opportunity can help the birthday child feel in control. Invite guests to join a simple activity at their own pace. Ask the site operator about reservations, conditions and hired entertainment. Ask us about a requested character theme; confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.

Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
