Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.

Let them watch from a trusted adult's side or skip the greeting. Participation should be an invitation, not a requirement.
Offer a group wave or shared photo, with individual greetings available only if the children want them.
Before setting the party schedule, ask us to confirm availability, costs and the requested theme's program details. A date request alone secures nothing.
A Homeland celebration can keep the character visit easy for the birthday child and guests: welcome the character, share a short group moment and leave participation optional. Consider asking the birthday child ahead of time whether they would prefer a wave, a photo or a little space before saying hello. Ask us about the requested theme, program details, costs and availability before building the schedule around the visit. City facilities and policies are unverified; the tips here are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not local venue findings.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
