No. The county system covers county community centers and related spaces. City parks, private halls and other venues have their own booking processes, so check with the owner of the place you want.
It helps. Knowing the room, the time slot and whether outside entertainers are allowed will make it easier to pick a character and plan the visit.
Visits start at one hour and can be extended in 30-minute steps. Choose the length that suits your guest count and party schedule.
Options to discuss include photos, a short story or game, and a question time. The exact activities can be tailored when you talk through your plans.
Lubbock has a lot of party options, and the right choice often depends on where the celebration will happen. Choosing a character is the fun part, but a few practical questions about the venue will help the visit go smoothly. Start with the place you have in mind, then decide how the character visit fits into the afternoon.
If you are considering a Lubbock County community center, the county runs an online facility reservation system for its community spaces, events and services. That system is a good place to confirm dates and see what the building offers. Keep in mind that this applies to county facilities, not every park, hall or room in the city, so confirm which owner manages the space you want.

Ask the venue staff whether outside entertainers are allowed, what time slot you can use, and whether a character visit needs any special arrangement. Find out if the room has space for children to gather around the character and whether you can set up music or a small activity. These answers will shape which character and which activities make sense for your guests.
Once the venue is settled, think about the age of your guests and how long they will want to stay engaged. Our character visits start at one hour, and longer visits are booked in 30-minute increments, so you can choose a length that fits the party schedule. Possible activities to discuss include photos with the character, a short story or game, and time for guests to ask questions.
