Not necessarily. Ask the facility about its rules for hired entertainment, then confirm the visit program and availability with our team.
In Lumberton, let the birthday child decide how the first hello should look: a wave, a quick photo or a moment watching from beside a parent. Once they are settled, invite guests to join a simple group activity without making participation a requirement. Ask us what could fit your plans, and confirm the program, costs and availability with our team. If using a facility, prepare a schedule that leaves time for arrival and departure, and tell guests where to meet.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
