For a character visit in Nelson, Pennsylvania, plan around your child's comfort first. A quiet wave or a quick hello can be the whole greeting; offer a photo together only if the child wants one. If they prefer to watch from beside a parent, let that be a happy way to join in. Ask us about a simple visit plan, and confirm the requested character theme, program details, cost and availability with our team. A date request is not a reservation.

Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
