Let the child set the pace. A wave or a chance to watch first can make the greeting feel more comfortable.
Pick a simple background and have an adult nearby to help the child join or leave the photo easily.
Ask us about the visit program and possible activities. Costs and availability also need confirmation with our team.
For Nodine families, a clear weather decision plan can keep an outdoor birthday from becoming a last-minute scramble. Choose an adult to watch the forecast and know where the group will go if conditions change. At the character visit, give the birthday child time to warm up, then offer a photo and a simple activity that guests can join or watch. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Nodine venues or policies. Ask us to confirm program ideas, costs, and availability before finalizing the schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
