Begin with a wave and let the birthday child choose whether to come closer, talk, or watch.
Offer an easy group activity and optional photo turns, while welcoming children who prefer to observe.
Check the exact site's booking conditions, access, and permission for entertainment. Ask us about program details, costs, and availability.
For a North Creek birthday, keep the character's first moments easy to follow: a friendly wave, a brief greeting, and time for the birthday child to decide what comes next. A short activity can give guests a shared focus while leaving room for candid pictures and quiet observation. Ask us about a simple program suited to your gathering. Utah's group-site reservation information describes one state-managed property, not a verified North Creek venue or permission for a party. Confirm the exact site, conditions, and any entertainment rules; prepare an indoor alternative if outdoors. Program details, costs, and availability must be confirmed with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Utah State Parks publishes a specific reservation season and advance-booking process for group sites at Fred Hayes State Park at Starvation. Check the exact group site and current conditions before fixing your date. This is one state-managed property example: group-site availability does not establish eligibility for a birthday gathering or permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
