For a Pierpont, Ohio celebration, a little role clarity can keep the character visit calm. Choose one adult to help the birthday child feel at ease and another to guide guests toward a photo or group greeting. The child can wave, join briefly or watch first; guests can participate without needing to perform. Weather planning matters for any outdoor setup, but the cited National Weather Service advice does not establish local venue rules or policies. Ask us about the character theme and proposed program, then confirm costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue.
