Pitsburg, Ohio, party plans can stay calm when the group has a clear meeting point and a named adult helping children move between activities. Let the character greet the guest of honor first, then invite others to join in ways that feel comfortable. Follow with a brief group activity and optional photos. Before the day, share the schedule and any access needs with the organizer. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, cost and availability, and keep weather decisions separate from entertainment arrangements.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
