Begin with a wave and give the birthday child time to choose a greeting. Watching from beside a trusted adult is fine.
Set up one uncluttered photo spot and invite the birthday child first. Let guests join in small groups if they wish.
Provide the date, ZIP code, setting and requested character theme. Confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
In Placida, keep the visit adaptable to the setting you choose. The character can begin with a warm wave, giving the birthday child time to decide whether to approach, talk or observe. Set aside a clear place for photos, then offer guests an easy activity with no pressure to participate. When asking our team, describe the child's age, party location and preferred pace. Program ideas, costs and availability must be confirmed.

Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
