For a gathering in Scotts Mills, make the site plan before settling on the party schedule. If you are considering an Oregon state park, verify that the specific place has a reservable group day-use facility and ask its operator about hired entertainment. Then plan a short character visit with time for a gentle greeting, optional photos and an easy activity guests can join or simply watch. Statewide guidance does not identify a Scotts Mills venue. Ask us about the costume theme, and confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Oregon State Parks accepts reservations at parks with reservable group day-use facilities as well as many campgrounds. Check the specific facility and booking conditions rather than treating all parks or campsite reservations as group-event bookings. Ask the operator about hired entertainment and any additional permission before setting the party plan.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
